Ms. Numaira Manzoor, the Chairperson of the Board of Governance at SKYTech IT Institute, is a visionary leader dedicated to technical training, skill development, and women empowerment. With over 15 years of experience in TVET institutions, business development, and project management, she has been instrumental in shaping the institute’s strategic direction. As an Executive Member of the Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry Karachi and a Member of the FPCCI Women Empowerment Committee, she actively advocates for inclusive economic opportunities and youth empowerment initiatives. Under her leadership, SKY Tech has transformed into a pioneering IT institute, training over 1,500 students, with 85% securing jobs in software houses, call centers, and freelancing platforms. Her expertise in vocational training, business development, quality assurance, and strategic planning has strengthened the institute’s reputation as a hub for technical education and workforce development. Passionate about bridging the gap between education and employment, she has played a key role in developing industry-driven skill programs, forming strategic partnerships, and fostering sustainable career pathways. captain Mirza Izhar Hussain Baig
Captain (R) Izhar Hussain is a seasoned maritime executive with over 41 years of experience in the maritime industry, ship repairs & maintenance, ships sale & purchase, recycling and dredging sectors.
Captain Hussain holds a B.Sc. (Hons) in Naval Warfare from Karachi University, an MBA in Marketing from New Port University, a specialization in Marine Engineering from Pakistan Navy Engineering College, and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from NED Engineering University.
After a distinguished career in the Pakistan Navy, he held key leadership positions, including serving as the CEO of Bahria Transhipment Hub from 2021 to 2023, where he drove strategic growth and established key partnerships. As General Manager (HR), also managed HR for over 8,500 personnel at Bahria Town, leading recruitment and COVID-19 vaccination efforts. His experience includes overseeing engineering operations at Karachi Port Trust (2008-2019) and managing ship repair projects at Karachi Shipyard (2004-2008). Additionally, he served as Director Technical at the Maritime Security Agency (1999-2002), leading engineering operations for naval vessels.
Captain Hussain’s contributions have earned him the Tamgha-e-Imtiaz (Military) for professional excellence, and he has been an elected member of the Lloyds Register Advisory Technical Committee of Asia & Africa.
Known for his collaborative approach and dedication to enhancing corporate culture, Captain Hussain is actively involved in mentoring new talent, sharing his wealth of experience to inspire the next generation in the maritime industry.

Ms. Farah Javed is a highly accomplished leader with over 35 years of diverse experience in vocational training, professional development, and industry collaboration. As the Director of Industrial Collaboration at SKY Tech IT Institute, she plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between academia and industry, ensuring that students receive practical, hands-on training aligned with
market demands. She is the Principal of Malir Institute of Technology (MITE) and the President of
the Professional Hairdressers and Beauty Association (PHABA). Additionally, she serves as the Convener of the Sindh Regional Standing Committee on Women Empowerment and Development at FPCCI (2024-25), where she actively works to create opportunities for women in skill-based industries. Ms. Farah’s extensive expertise in vocational education, strong industry connections, and commitment to empowering individuals have made her a driving force in skill development initiatives. zohair Ahmed Shahzad
Technology & Innovation Advisor
Zohair Ahmed Shahzad is a ynamic Technology & Innovation Advisor with expertise in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Data Science, and Electrical Engineering. Currently pursuing an MSc in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Sapienza
Università di Roma, he holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology (GIKI). With extensive experience in machine learning, predictive analytics, IoT, and power systems, Zohair has worked with leading organizations, including K-Electric, Schneider Electric, SoftThrive, and Jaffer Brothers, driving AI-led innovation and automation in grid planning, forecasting, and energy distribution. At K-Electric, he played a key role in optimizing grid planning, demand forecasting, and workflow automation, resulting in 30% cost savings, 90% accuracy improvement in demand projection, and 40% enhancement in distribution network reliability. He is a Certified Data Scientist, proficient in Power BI, Machine Learning, Large Language Models (LLMs), and Renewable Energy Technologies, with a strong passion for integrating AI-driven education and sustainable digital

Shams Haq – Legal & Compliance Advisor
Shams Haq is a seasoned academic and compliance expert with over 14 years of experience in higher education, accreditation, and regulatory compliance. Currently serving as a Lecturer at the University of Kurdistan Hewlêr (UKH), he has taught various mathematics courses, provided MATLAB support, and contributed to research with multiple publications in international journals. Prior to this, he served at COMSATS Institute of Information Technology, where he played a pivotal role in curriculum development, research, and administrative committees, including the admissions campaign and Techno Moot organizing committee. His leadership extends beyond academia, as he has also served as the Principal of a college and as Director Accreditation at NAVTTC (National Vocational & Technical Training Commission), ensuring quality assurance and compliance in vocational education. With strong expertise in mathematics, research, and accreditation, Shams Haq is dedicated to enhancing education standards, institutional compliance, and policy development in the academic and vocational sectors.
